Its pretty amazing what designers can do with running shoes these days. I think Nike had to move in the direction of barefoot running due to the demand that is coming from them. The thing they had to get right with the shoe if they wanted to incorporate barefoot running is the flexibility factor and i think they seem to have gotten that right.
