K-Swiss recently dropped the Cali-Mari, the newest model in the company’s ever-expanding running shoe line. The shoe boasts a barefoot feel, bolstered by its zero-drop heel-to-toe ratio and the inclusion of the new Vertical Tubes Technology, an outsole which uses individual vertical cylinders for shock absorption and push-off.
The Cali-Mari (an appropriate play on words for the show-stealing outsole) features a wide toe box for maximum foot movement, along with outsole cylinders of varying shapes to help mirror the absorption zones on the foot. With a 14mm profile throughout the forefoot and heel, the Cali-Mari provides cushioning within a minimalist-feeling shoe. Watch this space for a full review of the Cali-Mari!

i love the concept! can’t wait for the release!
Sounds like an interesting concept – I grew up running barefoot (too hot in the desert for shoes) and enjoy seeing shoe companies play with this style of running.
I also recommend vivobarefoot and the NB Minimus.
