Saucony Summer 2016 Running Shoe Previews

Following the announcements of the new line of Nike Free shoes and the Brooks Fall 2016 preview, it’s time to show you some of Saucony’s new offering.

The shoes for this update are the Xodus ISO, the Ride 9, Omni 15 and Zealot ISO 2. There are a few more coming out in a few months… as usual, stay tuned!

Saucony Xodus ISO

Xodus ISO

The Xodus ISO is Saucony’s most advanced and rugged trail shoe. It has a 4mm offset, will be available July 1st for $130.  Here are some specs:

UPPER

  • FLEXSHELL upper with DWR treatment protects against the elements
  • ISOFIT creates a dynamic fit system by adapting to the shape and motion of the runner’s foot
  • RUNDRY lining wicks away moisture for a dry, comfortable run
  • Internal Gusset construction keeps out debris

MIDSOLE

  • EVERUN Topsole construction for added energy return, durability and continuous cushioning throughout the run

OUTSOLE

  • Super-tacky PWRTRAC Rubber provides 3x better traction than standard rubber
  • Engineered for optimal grip and to shed mud

Saucony Ride 9

Ride 9

The Ride gets the EVERUN update and promises to deliver more energy return than ever. Retailing at $120 with a 8mm offset. Here are some more specs:

  • FLEXFILM no-sew overlays enhance fit without adding weight
  • RUNDRY lining wicks away moisture for a dry, comfortable run
  • Highly breathable, lightweight open air mesh
  • Reflective details for enhanced visibility

MIDSOLE

  • EVERUN Topsole construction for enhanced energy return and continuous cushioning throughout the run
  • SRC Landing Zone absorbs impact and extends into midfoot for a smooth transition

OUTSOLE

  • TRI-FLEX Outsole Design delivers more ground contact and optimal flexibility at toe-off

Saucony Omni 15

Omni 15

The Omni 15 adds EVERUN to the midsole and manages to stay quite lightweight even offering a good amount of support. 8mm offset for a MSRP of $130. Launching on June 1st.

Saucony Zealot ISO 2

Zealot ISO

The Zealot is Saucony’s lightweight and low-drop cushioning shoe. At a 4mm offset and $130 retail price, weights in at 9.5 oz for men’s size 9.
