Summary

The Under Armour Micro G Assert 7 is lightweight, flexible, and breathable making it a great option for a treadmill shoe. The lacing has been improved on this version for a better midfoot lockdown. These shoes do run a half size smaller so that is something to keep in mind.

In the midsole, you will find Micro G foam that runs from the heel to the forefoot. This offers underfoot protection and a responsive feel. Also in the midsole is an EVA sock liner that adds comfort and protection without adding weight.

The outsole features cushioning and traction while offering durability. Flex grooves on the bottom aid in the natural movement of your feet.

The upper is made of mesh material so the shoe is breathable and comfortable. You will notice it wraps nicely around your feel while still allowing some movement. The overlays are made of leather and help lockdown the midfoot. The shoe has a lace-up closure and padded tongue collar for extra comfort.

Who is it for?

The Under Armour Micro G Assert 7 is for those who want a lightweight, breathable shoe that can handle aerobics classes. The shoe has good lock down in the midsole and can be used indoor or for casual walking. It comes as a decent price so if you are looking for a shoe to try out an aerobic class, then this shoe is a good option.
