Summary

The Adidas Aerobounce 2 provides a solid amount of comfort and cushioning which makes for a good daily training shoe. The shoe is firm, yet stable, to keep you from overpronating. It offers enough cushioning that the shoe doesn't feel stiff.

The midsole features Bounce technology that is specific to Adidas’ shoes. The Bounce midsole is known for being springy and responsive because it expands when pressure is applied and that pressure is released once your foot lifts off. Once the pressure is released, the midsole goes back to its original shape while propelling you forward.

The upper of the Aerobounce 2 is made with engineered mesh plus suede lining to make for a comfortable fit while allowing air to flow through. On the upper, you will find TPU banding for a better fit. This also helps stabilize the foot platform by wrapping around the midfoot. The internal heel counter improves the fit of the shoe while keeping your foot in place. In addition, the A-frame lacing system adds security by tightening around your feet.

On the outsole, you will find Blown Rubber that is lightweight while offering a well-cushioned ride. While Blown Rubber is not as durable as Carbon Rubber, it does offer a good amount of traction when you run on the pavement. The tread features segmented rubber and flex grooves to aid in flexibility. The Aerobounce 2 is a good option as a daily training or an every day running shoe because of the cushioning it offers.

Who is it for?

The Adidas Aerobounce 2 is a daily training shoe that offers cushioning while offering some stability. If you need a little extra protection for your feet but still want comfort, this is a good option. These shoes are versatile and can be used for running errands, the gym, or daily runs.
