Summary

This is just an overview, not a review. We did not test the Amplica yet.
Asics Amplica is a lightweight, responsive, affordable trainer that can be used for daily training or uptempo runs. It is a essentials only shoe, so don’t expect any frills, but expect a lower price point.

The midsole is fast on the roads with its AmpilFoam that runs the full-length of the shoe. The responsiveness of the midsole will provide you with a natural running feel but with a more resilient, firmer foam. In addition, the midsole is softer on your feet as you rack up the miles.

The flex grooves and carbon rubber outsole make the shoe durable. When it comes to the upper, expect to stay cool and dry with the breathable, engineered mesh. Furthermore, the synthetic overlays are hardly noticeable, so you can run sockless without any worry of irritation or hotspots.

Who is it for?

The Amplicas are perfect for those who want an affordable shoe they can train in daily while pushing the limits on the road.
