FuzeX Rush Adapt

8.6 oz. (244 gr.)

Heel Drop

List Price
100 US$

The Asics FuzeX Rush Adapt is a road shoe that comes at an affordable price. The shoe can be used for running, or at a job where you on your feet all day. The midsole is not as responsive as other shoes, nor does it offer much arch support. In addition, the sizing was a bit narrow for some.

The midsole features fuzeGEL foam and GEL shock-attenuating system to absorb shock during your foot strike. The shoe does come with an Ortholite Lasting liner, but you can take that out and put in your own insert if you prefer.

Flex grooves are located on the outsole of the FuzeX Rush Adapt for more flexibility and a better toe-off. The upper is seamless, water resistant, and breathable. It uses Adapt Mesh to conform to the shape of your feet. The outsole of the shoe is made with Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) to handle wear and tear while offering you a good traction on the ground. The AHAR is located on the forefoot and heel. While it does provide protection, it does make the shoe feel heavier.

Who is it for?

The Asics FuzeX Rush Adapts is an affordable shoe designed for short to medium distance runners. It is best for those who underpronate and offers stability for this condition. If you want to feel the ground underfoot, this shoe is not a good choice as it is a little heavy. However, if you want something to keep you comfortable while you are on your feet during work or a run, then this is a decent shoe.
