Summary

This is just an overview, not a review. We did not test the Ariel 20 yet.
The Brooks Ariel 20 is a women's running shoe, known for its maximum support. The technology inside gives a soft, cushioned ride for running, walking or just being on your feet all day. The Ariel 20 is equipped with technology to correct severe overpronation, whilst remaining a soft ride.

Past Ariel designs have been completely overhauled, adding in a new guide rail system, to gently guide the feet onto the correct gait and motion, thus reducing pressure on knees and hips and reducing risk of injury to the knees specifically. This works by moving the foot back into the correct position, and towards the middle of the shoe where the stride is more efficient.

The upper is made from full length engineered breathable mesh, embroidered saddle and has the look of a traditional running shoe.

The midsole is made of environmentally friendly BioMoGo DNA foam to provide long lasting cushioning and durability.

Who is it for?

The Ariel 20 is a women's running shoe for runners who have severe overpronation but are looking for a soft cushioned running shoe. It's recommended for runners looking for a traditional running shoe with a big heel to toe drop (this one comes in at 12mm). The Ariel 20 is available in 3 widths, meaning it provides a good fit for all foot sizes to remain comfortable all day. For the men's version take a look at the Brooks Beast 20.
