The shoe got an update with no-sew overlays and an engineered mesh upper. It is comfortable and is designed to help with conditions such as overpronation and Plantar Fasciitis. The Super DNA midsole offers 25 percent more cushioning and is also more adaptable than the standard midsole in Brooks’ other shoes. The Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar keeps your feet from overpronating and helps to keep them in their natural position. In addition, the Segmented Crash Pad guides your feet into a natural position no matter how you land.
The updated upper of the Beast 18 is breathable, wicks away moisture, and has a roomy toe box. The sock liner is removable, so you can take it out and wash it as needed. The upper has a structured saddle so you can tighten or loosen the support as necessary. In addition, the external heel counter provides extra stability. The outsole on the Beast 18 is made of HPR Green, which works well in wet or dry conditions. The rest of the outsole is made of rubber to increase the durability of the shoe. Furthermore, the Omega Flex Grooves enhance the flexibility of the shoe allow your feet to move more naturally.
