Summary

The latest in Brooks' Bedlam line, the Bedlam 3, is an everyday road running shoe, offering stability, plush cushioning and a bouncy ride.

The midsole is made from Brooks' most highly responsive foam, ideal for runners who prefer bouncy over soft running shoes. This DNA AMP Midsole technology, also found in the Levitate range (aimed at neutral runners) offers enhanced stability, whilst being a super springy foam. This works by coating the existing foam to restrict horizontal movement in the sole, and increase energy return, meaning a more powerful take off.

The shoe also offers stability for overpronating runners thanks to the integrated guide rails which guide the foot to the correct gait, protecting the ankles, knees and hips from incorrect running technique.

The sock-like knit upper, and sleek design remains the same from previous iterations, with added breathability.

The outsole has been updated to an arrow point pattern to offer speedier transitions and enhance the springy feel.

Who is it for?

The Bedlam 3 is recommended for runners looking for a stability shoe to use on everyday runs and training. Premium technologies in the Bedlam 3 demand it's premium price tag. For a more neutral ride, consider the near identical Levitate range. If you're looking for the ultimate bouncy ride, the Bedlam 3 could be a great choice for you.
