Summary

The Nike Alphafly Next% is Nike's flagship marathon racer.

The midsole of the Alphafly is a super thick slab of ZoomX foam which is the perfect combination of cushion, responsiveness and bounce. The Alphafly also has two forefoot Zoom Air pods for added springiness. Hidden inside the ZoomX midsole is a full-length carbon fibre plate which keeps the shoe stiff and propulsive. The outsole has a thick layer of rubber in the forefoot and two strips of rubber in the rear. The upper of the Alphafly is Nike's brand new contoured AtomKnit which is breathable, lightweight and doesn't absorb water.

The Nike Alphafly Next% has even more ZoomX and class-leading technology crammed into it than the Vaporfly Next%, making it Nike's premier racing shoe.

Who is it for?

The Nike Alphafly Next% is recommended for runners who want the latest technology packed into a marathon racer which is cushioned, springy and propulsive. The Alphafly Next% is for the runner who wants the best and doesn't mind paying a premium for it.
