Summary

The Puma Ignite EvoKNIT 2 can be used for running or a mixture of exercise activities. The shoe has a stretchy midfoot strap for security and a midsole with excellent cushioning. This is a versatile shoe that offers good energy return and shock absorption.

In the midsole, IGNITE foam absorbs shock while still providing a comfortable feel. Once the shoe absorbs shock, it turns that into energy to aid in your workout. The foam runs the full length of the shoe and provides a decent amount of support, but it should be noted the Ignite EvoKNIT 2 is designed for neutral pronators.

The outsole of the Ignite EvoKNIT 2 is made of a rubber compound to give you excellent traction while protecting the shoe from wear and tear. Flex grooves are also present in the outsole, which allow for flexibility and aid in toe-offs.

The upper of the shoe is made of evoKNIT, which is a cloth material that is breathable. Both the heel counter and collar are made of stretchy fabric to keep your feet secure during workouts. The midfoot of the upper has a saddle that is stretchy and is held together by a TPU clip. This helps keep your feet in place while providing a snug fit. There is a pull tab on the heel and tongue to help your feet enter the shoe smoothly.

Who is it for?

The Puma Ignite EvoKNIT 2 is perfect for those who want a versatile running shoe. The shoe provides good shock absorption and energy return. This shoe can handle running, workouts, or it can be used as a daily wear shoe.
