The Under Amour HOVR Sonic Connected is a neutral shoe that is perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike. The road shoe has flexibility, versatility, and cushioning that handles best between the 10K to 15K range. As soon as you step in to the shoe, you will notice how comfortable it is without being too soft.

The midsole is made with Rim and Core. The Core features Olefin, which expands with more energy, is extremely durable, and is not affected by temperature. The Rim is made of UA’s charged foam. The combination of these two technologies creates a good amount of energy return and cushioning.

The HOVR Sonic Connected upper is made of a microthread upper for a compression like fit. This also makes the upper breathable and fast drying in case you happen to get caught in the rain. Furthermore, the removable Ortholite sock liner conforms to your feet.

When it comes to the outsole, you will find a combination of high abrasion and blown rubber for a lightweight, shock absorption, and a responsive sole. These types of rubber perform well on the road, wet pavement, uphill, and on the treadmill. The external heel counter will help keep your feet in place as you run over these various types of surfaces.

The connected part of the trainer is UA’s Record Sensor technology. This feature will track and analyze your runs, which is nice for those who want to continuously improve themselves. It is located in the midsole, so you won’t have to worry about it getting wet or damaged.

Who is it for?

The Under Armour HOVR Sonic Connected is designed for those who want a daily, responsive trainer that can provide them with continuous feedback on their runs.
