Summary
This is just an overview, not a review. We did not test the Dyad 9 yet.The Brooks Dyad 9 is lighter than the previous model and can be used for endurance training, gym workouts, or for those who work on their feet all day. The Dyad 9 is a versatile shoe that can accommodate orthotics. In fact, it is recommended for those who have wider feet or those who wear orthotics on a regular basis.
The midsole has the Brooks’ BioMoGo DNA, which is responsive while adding a good amount of cushioning. The thick midsole adapts to your step and keeps the shoe durable. The DNA midsole runs the length of the shoe – from the forefoot to the heel. In the heel, you will find the Segmented Heel Crash Pad for further cushioning.
The upper of the Dyad 9 is made with breathable mesh and welded overlays. The mesh wicks moisture away while keeping feet cool. The upper also features an internal saddle to keep your feel secure and in place as you move. It also has a sockliner that provides your feet with more comfort and prevent hot spots.
