The Brooks Glycerin 10 is a great, highly cushioned shoe for neutral runners looking for a plush shoe, while still maintaining a smooth ride. While the price is a bit on the high side, the Glycerin 10 is incredibly durable, standing up well to the miles.

The Asics Blur33 2.0 is a good, simple, lightweight neutral trainer that suffers from a tight fit in the toe and heel slippage.

The Asics Cumulus 14 makes for a great long run shoe with ample cushioning and support. As the miles stack up through marathon training, they have held up well, and are a good everyday shoe. They’re a great overall package, and feel more like a premium shoe, despite the relatively low price tag.

The Nike Free Run+ 3 is an incredibly comfortable, light-weight and flexible trainer. It gives the benefits of barefoot running while offering enough protection and support to make even the most predictable shoe consumer consider trying something new.

Puma delivers its first cushioned trainer to the Faas line. The shoe has a nice plush midsole that offers up a natural ride, but issues with the upper may have runners giving the shoe second thoughts.

The Ghost 5 will definitely remain my go-to shoe for training and longer races. I love the extended crash pad and the smooth ride, all in a relatively light package.

The Saucony Kinvara 3 provides a great run with support where it’s needed and light material throughout. A great shoe for various workouts on nearly any terrain.
