Summary

The Asics MetaRacer is a light race-day shoe with a carbon-fibre plate. The MetaRacer is Asics' modern twist on the traditional racing flat.

The responsive and bouncy midsole is made from FlyteFoam derived from sugarcane biomass. It has a bottom-loaded carbon-fibre plate sandwiched between the midsole and outsole in the forefoot for added stiffness and efficiency. The MetaRacer uses Asics' Guide Sole technology to reduce ankle flexion. The outsole is covered with Asics Grip to provide plenty of traction.

The light and breathable upper made from monofilament hydrophobic is designed to keep your feet cool and comfortable. It has an air vent in the toe cap which increases airflow into the shoe.

The Asics MetaRacer is a super-light race day option with a smooth and permeable upper. It's low stack height and carbon-fibre plate result in a stable yet propulsive ride.

Who is it for?

The Asics MetaRacer is recommended for the runner looking for a race-day shoe that blurs the lines between traditional racing flat and modern, cushioned super foam racer. Its low stack height makes it suitable for 5km to half marathon distances.
