I truly enjoyed my time in the Asics GT 2170. I took them on both treadmill and asphalt runs and they performed quite reliably and as expected. The GT 2170 has several features that I demand in a stability shoe.

Asics update of Spring 2011 running line continues with the update to the popular stability shoe, the Asics GT-2160 (update of last years’ GT-2150). Updates have been made both to improve the performance and comfort/fit of the shoe, starting by the weigth: the GT-2160 is the lightest of the GT-2100 series.

ASICS premium stability plus shoe – the Gel-Kayano 17 gets an update for 2011 that results in a slightly lighter shoe and improved cushioning due to a new sock-liner and better response due to ASICS Guidance Line technology being full length now. New colors are also introduced with the big news being an all black option. Most of the features that made the Gel-Kayano 16’s so popular are back as well.
