Brooks Releases Limited Edition National Parks Collection

Brooks Running Company launched a limited edition National Parks collection of their running footwear and apparel to celebrate the parks that runners frequent and to inspire others to explore running in more natural and outdoor spaces.

The Brooks National Parks Collection went on sale last August 1st in their stores and online at Rei.com. The footwear retails for $130 and the shirts for $34 each. Brooks also announced that they’ll be donating 5 percent of the wholesale cost of each pair of shoes and t-shirt bought from the limited edition collection to the National Park Foundation to help conserve outdoor spaces to be used and enjoyed by future generations to come.

The limited edition collection includes Cascadia 12 trail running shoes as well as Brooks technical running shirts. Each of the shoes are emblazone with the colors and unique crest of each national park that they represent. On the other hand, the shirts have wonderful designs inspired by the park that they’re celebrating. All the shoes and shirts were also inspired by the look and the feel of the uniforms worn by the dedicated park rangers of these parks.

The collection includes the following parks and designs:

Great Smoky Mountains National Park – represented with a deep red and orange color that mimics the color of the sunset seen through the mountains.

Yosemite National Park – the deep blue and bright green color palette used for the shirts and shoe represents the streams and creeks that visitors enjoy in the park

Mt. Rainier National Park – the shoes and shirts representing the park uses gray and blue tones that resembles the same shades of the iconic northwest mountain trail.

Yellowstone National Park – the vivid color palette for the park is akin to the shades of the hot springs located within it.
