New Balance’s Minimus line of trail and road shoes has gained great popularity since its inception, and the 10v2 fits-in well with the range’s design philosophy. It is a minimal, low-to-the-ground trail shoe suitable for both daily running and racing.

New Balance absolutely nailed it with the third version of this shoe which is sure to please a variety of runners from the fleet footed to the recreational jogger.

A passable daily stability trainer best suited for runners who prefer a more traditionally designed shoe without much flash.

The New Balance MRC1600 is one simple fit change away from being the best marathon distance racing shoe I've ever worn.

The Minimus MT1010 gives a great feel for the trail while providing a greater degree of protection than many minimalist trail shoes.

A potentially great shoe that suffers from its loss of stability. Could find a home with runners who desire high end fit and form without much support.

A good but not outstanding stability trainer which may be overlooked at retail.

-New Balance updates the popular 890 with a lower drop and stack height but many runners are complaining of the shallow toe box. Overall a great shoe for neutral or mild overpronators who are looking for a durable shoe.

The New Balance 1080v2 will definitely stay in my rotation as my go-to long run shoes. I loved their more natural feel, and I barely noticed them on the run. They were cushioned enough to keep my feet and legs feeling great even at the end of a long run without getting in my way.
