They are for someone who wants a high-quality shoe that can perform various needs without spending an arm and a leg.
They are not for the runner looking for a long-distance running shoe. It can be used for short to mid-distance runs but once you enter into those double digits you’ll start to notice the lack of responsiveness.
This is Nike’s 11th iteration of the Winflo and I can firmly say that they are indeed an improvement from the 10’s.
You can find them for $104.99. Which is a steal for what you get. It’s a budget-friendly daily trainer that can be used for almost everything. They are similar to the famous Nike Pegasus but for a fraction of the cost.
It’s loaded with Nike’s top-of-the-line technology. You’ll notice the responsive cushioning right away that is perfectly balanced to make sure your ride is smooth. The Cushlon 3.0 foam and the full-length Nike Air unit in the midsole will give you great energy return in each step.
On top of that, they have an ultra-supportive elastic midfoot band that secures your foot. It has a single-layer engineered mesh upper that allows for comfort and maximum breathability.
It weighs in at 8.9 oz for women and 11.4 oz for men. Which is slightly lighter than the Winflo 10s and has a 9.1 mm heel-to-toe drop.
Nike is also becoming more and more environmentally friendly and the Winflo 11 is made with at least 20% recycled content by weight.
Let me tell you, they have come a long way since the 8’s.
Opening the box for the first time I noticed right away how squared off the heel was. In past models, the heel was more rounded or pointed. It was a good surprise that was pleasing to look at. It gives it a more modern look to them.
The next thing I noticed was how nice the upper material looked. Nike has been doing a great job each year upgrading the Winflo.
Lacing them up for the first time I noticed instantly noticed how plush they felt. The tongue has extra padding so once you tie them up, you’ll experience an all-over comfort
My first run in them was a 5k on the treadmill. Right out of the box and onto my feet I experienced no discomfort.
There is no need for a break in period. I did notice how much more room I had in the toe box area.
Another area I took notice to was the midsole. It felt more padded and this can be attributed to an additional insole that gives you just a little more comfort.
The upper is made out of an engineered mesh material that gives your foot an overall plush feel. This upper is very similar to the Winflo 10 but has a little more thickness to it yet still very breathable. Looking at them, they give off a well-to-do status. For a budget-friendly shoe, this one delivers in every area.
Nike has given the Winflo more room in the forefoot and a wider heel. This is perfect for all-day wear, especially when your feet start to swell a little.
Another addition that is key to Winflo’s amazing lockdown is the elastic midfoot band. It keeps your foot in the right place.
Moving back towards the heel counter you will notice how nicely padded and built up it is. You’ll have a great locked-in place fit and I experience no problems with slipping or rubbing.
Lastly, the tongue is more padded with this model than any of the previous ones. This creates a comfortable fit when the laces are tightly secured into place. There is no added pressure on the top of the foot.
The sole of the Winflo is noticeably thick. This is due to the Nike Air unit and the Cushlon 3.0 foam that runs the length of the shoe.
It’s nicely responsive and will provide you with a balanced run/ walk. I will say that when I started to run past 5 miles, I would notice that they just seemed to be blah.
Nothing is making them give me more pep in my step for those longer distances like the Nike Pegasus or the Asics Gel Kayano. Both of these shoes offer comfort, stability, and responsiveness for miles.
The Nike Winflo 11 is a neutral trainer, and it’s not designed for those needing extra stability. It can handle mild pronators but there are other stability shoes available that would best suit people of that necessity.
The outsole is rubber and has a waffle pattern to it. Its traction over all types of terrain is superb.
I tested them out on road, gravel, turf, and grass and didn’t have any problem with slipping. I have used them for well over 50 miles and the outsole has shown little to no wear.
The Nike Winflo 11 is a great choice for those who are looking for a comfortable everyday trainer.
It’s a shoe of many hats that is capable of performing as a running shoe for short distances, training sessions in the gym, or just for daily errands.
If you’re in the market for a high-quality shoe that can be used daily and I mean you can wear them ALL DAY, with zero problems? Then look no further, go ahead and snag yourself a pair of the Winflos and you will not be disappointed.

Hey runners! Looking at grabbing the Winflo 11 for my spring 5k training plan. Currently run in Pegasus 7.5 and wondering if I should stick with that size? Planning to run about 3 times a week, usually 5k each time. Debating if I need something cushier for my slightly wonky knees!

I’ve put about 150 miles on my Winflo 11s and they’ve become my go-to shoe for daily training. The cushioning hits a sweet spot – enough for 5-7 mile runs but still responsive for tempo work. Compared to the Winflo 10, the upper is more breathable and the fit is slightly wider in the forefoot. While not as plush as the Pegasus 41, these are fantastic for the price point. I especially love how versatile they are – I’ve used them for everything from track workouts to casual wear. The only real drawback is needing to double-knot the laces. My longest run in them was 8 miles and they performed great. A solid trainer that punches above its price point.

I’ve put about 150 miles on my Winflo 11s and they’ve proven to be excellent daily trainers. The cushioning feels perfect for my easy 5-6 mile runs, though I agree they’re not ideal for longer distances. I used them in a recent 10K and while they performed well, I could feel the limitation in cushioning around mile 5. Compared to my previous Nike Pegasus, these feel more responsive but less plush. The durability has been impressive – barely any wear on the outsole. I particularly love how versatile they are – I can use them for gym workouts too. One minor issue is the laces coming undone as mentioned in the review, but double-knotting solves this. Great value for $105.

Hey everyone! Complete newbie here looking to start running. Tried on the Winflo 11 at the store but also spotted the Pegasus. Can anyone tell me which has more cushioning? My feet tend to get sore easily. Also – bit confused about sizing since my casual Nikes are 7.5. Should I size up for running?

Just getting into running and looking for my first proper pair – would these work for my couch-to-5K program? Doing about 2-3 miles three times a week right now. My local store only has the regular width and my feet are a bit wide – anyone with wider feet try these?

The Winflo 11 has been my daily trainer for the past 3 months, logging about 150 miles so far. For a budget-friendly Nike shoe, these perform surprisingly well. I use them mainly for 5-10k runs and gym sessions. The React foam provides decent cushioning though not as plush as the Pegasus line. Recently ran a 10k race in them with no issues. Compared to the Winflo 10, the upper feels more secure and breathable. The durability has been solid – minimal wear on the outsole. While not ideal for marathon training, they’re perfect for casual runners who want a versatile shoe.

Mine got the outsole totally worn out at only 270 km, worst shoes I´ve ever had… don´t know wether they had any production problems on this batch

My kid’s starting high school cross country this fall and I don’t want to break the bank on his first real running shoes. Anyone’s kids run in these? Mainly worried about them lasting through the season. He’s been wearing regular Nikes – should I stick with his usual size or go differently with these?

The Winflo 11 has become my go-to daily trainer over the past two months. As someone who rotates between different shoes, these hit a sweet spot for casual training runs up to 10k. The React foam provides good energy return while staying comfortable – definitely more responsive than the Winflo 10. I use these mainly for easy runs around 5:00/km pace and they excel there. While not as plush as higher-end options like the Invincible, the value for money is excellent. The upper breathes well and lockdown is secure with the updated lacing system. Great entry-level option that doesn’t feel budget.

I’m curious, how does the Winflo 11 compare to the Pegasus series in terms of daily training usage? I’ve been using Pegasus for years but wonder if this could be a good alternative.

Overall a solid review except the traction rating was a yellow bar, yet in the review you said traction is superb.

The Winflo 11 is a decent daily trainer, especially for the price. The cushioned feel underfoot is great for when you’re racking up miles, but the shoe doesn’t feel quite as responsive during faster workouts. I noticed some slight heel slippage but tightening the laces helped a bit. Overall, a solid choice for beginner runners who value comfort over speed.

I really like the cushioning on the Winflo 11! It gave me a smooth ride during a tempo run on roads. Not the lightest, but they feel stable and supportive underfoot. Overall a solid shoe for the price, though the durability could be a bit better over time—noticed some wear on the upper after only a few weeks. Still, great for moderate mileage runners.

I was wondering how the Winflo 11 compares in durability to other Nike running shoes like the Pegasus or Miler series? Specifically interested in how long the outsole grips last.

I found the Winflo 11 to be decent overall, but I feel like the toe box could have been a bit roomier for better comfort. The cushion and support are solid, but it’s not quite as durable as some other Nike models I’ve used.

This is a solid trainer! The cushioning felt a bit on the firmer side compared to softer options in the lineup like the Pegasus, but I actually prefer that as it gave me more stability. I also liked the breathable upper—keeps your feet cool during those long hot runs. Only downside is that it’s a tad heavy, but it does the job really well.

I’ve always been a fan of Nike’s versatility, but how does the Winflo 11 compare to the Pegasus series in terms of responsiveness? I’m looking for something that gives a bit more spring on the treadmill.
