ASICS has just recently announced their latest release for their GEL-KAYANO footwear series, the GEL-KAYANO 24. One of the most sought-after running shoes, the latest reiteration of ASICS’ GEL-KAYANO has only become lighter and more flexible since its initial release 24 years ago.

ASICS Corporation’s Senior General Manager for Global Performance Running Footwear Division, Gerard Klein has this to say about their latest release:

“Running is a growing part of people’s fitness routines today. We have a large community of loyal GEL-KAYANO runners that will recognize our unsurpassed comfort and ride and invite all runners to experience the right blend of cushioning and stability. The GEL-KAYANO 24 is a great new flagship model in the ASICS running range that will excite all.”

The brand managed to incorporate a plethora of their own technologies for this release, making sure that it surpasses the following, the quality, and the performance of its predecessor. Some of these technologies include a sloped Dynamic DUOMAX™ Support to maintain stability from the first to last step during a run and MetaClutch™, which was first introduced back in 2016 with the ASICS MetaRun, that “allows for the construction and material of the exoskeleton external heel counter, with built-in memory foam lining, to perfectly wrap the lateral and medial side of the ankle and provide individuals a more personalized heel fit.”

All these features that ASICS incorporated only clearly shows that they designed the GEL-KAYANO 24 with ultimate runners in mind—but that doesn’t mean that this shoe won’t be suitable for beginners as well, as this line from ASICS is well-known for providing stability and comfort.
