Puma Joins the War of the Plates with the UltraRide

A first look at the new lightweight, propulsive performance running shoe from Puma.

“With UltraRide, we designed the shoe to give runners what they are looking for in a running shoe. The lightweight upper and responsive PROFOAMLITE midsole, combined with the PROPLATE ensures a spry and comfortable stride for runners training for their next goal.”

Who is it For?

Built on the foundation of the Reductionist Theory, the UltraRide is for the runner who wants a super-light running shoe with only the basic running essentials: cushioning and responsiveness.

Technology

Propulsion Plate

  • The engineered plate in the UltraRide provides midfoot stability for a smoother gait cycle and provides a snappy forefoot sensation that propels the runner through every stride.

PROFOAMLITE Midsole

  • PROFOAMLITE is a new EVA that provides high rebound while also offering instant cushion in a lightweight package.

Open-Holed Mesh

  • An airy and breathable mesh provides maximum ventilation while support is provided by a dynamic underlay system underneath the mesh.

When is it Available?

The UltraRide is available now on PUMA.com, PUMA stores and selected retailers worldwide.
