Josh McClurg is from western Pennsylvania, close to Pittsburgh. He is 33 years old and is a diesel mechanic for work and a fitness fanatic for hobby. Josh grew up running with his dad hours before school and rode bmx with his friends in his spare time. Running and being in shape were always on the forefront of life! Eventually he grew out of that and had to deal with real life working. When he found out he was having a little boy at 28, he knew he had to change his life. Ate poorly, gained weight and had a terrible mentality. That all changed knowing he was soon to have a life to be responsible for aside from his own. He started lifting weights and rucking. Losing weight, gaining muscle and eating better were all on the forecast! When he had his son it got even more intense, running happened. He remember as a kid running with his dad and wanted his son to experience life that way as well, so he started doing just that. After a half year the racing started. Many 5ks done with a winning time on one of 19 seconds. On to a few 13.1s even one at Ironman Ohio as part of a relay team where his team won 3rd place overall! On to his full marathons. His first ever he ran a 3:27 and was on a mission to qualify for boston with a time of 3 hours flat. His second which was a BQ race his nutrition stopped him and he ran a 3:55. He never accomplished that goal...yet! Currently he is on a run streak trying to do a 5k every single day in 2023. Josh is an avid runner, lifter, a family man, a hardworker and just wants to inspire people to move their bodies and reach their potential in life!!
